These types of visas allow you to own and manage a business in Australia, conduct business and investment activities or undertake a business activity in the country.
This type of visa is given to people who wish to enter Australia to analyse certain investment opportunities or to manage existing businesses in the country.
They can be granted temporarily or permanently to business owners or executives managing a third party’s investment, making it a good opportunity to immigrate to Australia.
The applicant can be a capitalist, a senior entrepreneur, or a high-ranking executive. The profile of the interested party will determine the type of “visa for business people” that corresponds to him.
This is granted to applicants who wish to enter Australia for up to three months for the purpose of conducting business activities.
In this category, several types of visas can be identified:
The “Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) Business Entrant” visa can be given for long visits (class 956) with a maximum duration of three months each, as long as the passport is valid; or for short visits (class 977) with a maximum duration of three months, each visit in a maximum period of 12 months.
It is awarded to those who attend workshops, seminars, conventions or conferences or hold informal study or training sessions. It is granted to passport holders of the following countries:
Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France
Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein
