Another difference with the subclass 417 is that the 462 is issued on a limited basis by the Australian Government, and when the applications are completed you will have to wait until July 1 of the following year for the process to be opened again. Spain and Chile top the list with up to 3400 visas issued annually, while Peru and Ecuador select approximately 100 people.
At the moment of visa approval you only have 12 months to enter the country, once you have already entered, you have 12 more months where you can study, travel and work in Australia.
